Dr. Vijay Padaki

Dr. Vijay Padaki received his education and professional training from Madras University and All India Institute of Mental Health, Bangalore (now NIMHANS). His formal training is Social and Clinical psychologist, with a thesis in the area of personality assessment.
He is on the Faculty of Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, from inception in 1974, and is specialized in Organizational Studies oriented to rural development and institutional development.
Since 1989, he is a partner and Director of the P&P Group, a research and consulting centre, specializing in organization and institutional development. The focus of the work extends to both business-industry and non-profit organizations, especially in development programmes.
Dr. Padaki initiated work in India in the area of Corporate Social Performance – towards a methodology for assessing corporate involvement in the society’s developmental objectives and is active involved in the theatre, especially in writing and training. The playscripts are performed widely in India and abroad.
