RS Moorthy, MS, Former Vice President & Director for Global Accounts Operations and Knowledge Management, Motorola. RS consults in strategy and new business development, business transformation, developing organizational capabilities, business ethics, knowledge management and organizational learning.
He was instrumental in initiating and leading the knowledge management effort at Motorola 1995-2002 and focused on implementing and leveraging the application of knowledge management practices to systematically address critical business issues and build organizational capabilities to support strategic initiatives. RS has a wide range of professional experience including senior leadership responsibilities in strategy and business development, knowledge management, customer relations management, organizational learning and development, business reengineering, business ethics, transcultural competence, leadership development and manufacturing operations. RS played a key leadership role, as part of a Motorola Senior Executive Team assigned by the CEO, in developing and implementing the Motorola Ethics Renewal Process in more than 24 countries worldwide, which is now recognized as a benchmark for multinational corporations. RS is the senior co-author of the business ethics book "Uncompromising Integrity: Motorola's Global Challenge," 1998. He has published a number of articles in professional journals and is a frequent speaker at international conferences on business ethics, transcultural competence, and knowledge management. |
